我想,既然 Stained-Glass cookie是歪果忍的玩意,那就找找歪果忍的配方吧。
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Start to Finish Time: 60 minutes
Yield: 3 to 4 dozen
Ingredients
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon molasses (黑糖蜜,我沒有,所以用楓糖取代)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
20 hard candies (such as Jolly Ranchers or LifeSavers), preferably in several flavors
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add molasses and vanilla extract, mixing until incorporated.
Add egg and mix until light and smooth, about 1 minute on medium speed. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder over mixture; then, using a rubber spatula, fold dry ingredients into mixture. Use electric mixer to blend just until flour is incorporated.
以上都是照做,把麵糰整成一大片,就送冷藏休息了。
等麵糰冰硬,就拿出最喜歡的模子,切切割割,每塊餅乾中間一定要做個大洞,頂部用吸管刺小洞,做成吊飾。
中上層,350度F,烤12分(10分鐘後調烤盤),拿出後,視洞的大小放 Jolly Ranchers 硬糖果。
繼續烤5分鐘,確定糖果平均流滿空洞。拿出放涼,再把餅乾取下。
[註]要等餅乾涼一些再取下,不然熱熱的糖漿會粘在烤盤布上,就成不了玻璃面了。

接下來製作糖霜(一不做二不休,要甜就甜到底吧)
小本配方
蛋白 15g
檸檬汁 5g
糖粉過篩 120g
上述材料攪勻,依照心情加食用色素搭配色彩。
除了右邊的聖誕樹是我畫的,其它全讓閒閒沒事幹的兒子們接手,上上繪畫課。
畫完後,吵著要吃一片(這款餅乾含糖量已經遠超出我家標準,所以不大想給他們吃),看他們畫得認真的份上,就答應了。
口感:餅乾體很好吃,但是搭配又硬又黏的糖果很不搭調,糖霜又特甜,除非對自己的牙齒很有信心,不然還是當吊飾比較好。
好漂亮阿~ 這就像童話故事書裡面一樣, 烤餅乾來做聖誕樹吊飾!!!
